Screen Cinema, Originally “The New Metropole”
The Screen Cinema is located on Hawkins St., Dublin, Leinster. It is built on the site of the Theatre Royal. It opened on the 16 March 1972 and was originally called “The New Metropole”, then renamed the “Metropole” in 1975. In 1984 it was renamed the “Screen Cinema” and is a sister cinema to the Savoy.
